Overview
CEdge provided software development to an IT consulting and staffing firm from January 2019 through June 2022, as prime contractor. The customer needed engineering capacity it could rely on, and CEdge supplied it as an extension of the customer’s own team, drawing on developers in the United States and at CEdge India.
Scope of Work
- Application design and development against the customer’s requirements and priorities
- Agile delivery in short iterations with regular demonstrations, so the customer saw working software throughout
- Code quality practices, including reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ongoing enhancement and maintenance of delivered software
How We Worked
We organized the work as a stable development team that planned each iteration with the customer, built and tested the agreed stories, and demonstrated the results at the end of each cycle. This is the same delivery model we apply on our larger programs, and it kept scope, status, and quality visible to the customer at all times.
Result
A three and a half year relationship, one of our longer commercial engagements, delivered as a continuing development partnership rather than a single project.
