Overview

The Integrated Data Environment/Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) program is a partnership between the U.S. Transportation Command and the Defense Logistics Agency. USTRANSCOM’s Global Transportation Network (GTN) and DLA’s Enterprise Business System were converged to give the Department of Defense an integrated set of networked, end-to-end visibility, deployment, and distribution capabilities.

CEdge supported prime contractor Leidos on IGC. The Leidos order was issued under the DISA ENCORE III contract and ran from November 2019 through March 2025.

Scope of Work

  • Software testing and test documentation, including verification testing, test readiness reviews, user acceptance testing, and test problem reports
  • Interoperability, supportability, external system, and Section 508 testing
  • Configuration management, requirements management, and configuration identification, with change control for all IGC baselines and configuration items, including documentation, hardware, commercial software, application, source, and executable code
  • Software maintenance and maintenance releases
  • Data warehouse operations on Teradata and Oracle databases, including database operations and administration and management of data latency
  • Security administration for the data warehouse, backup, archive, and restore administration, and performance and capacity reporting

Why It Matters
