Overview
From July 2016 through December 2019, CEdge delivered SAP application support to a global life sciences company, as prime contractor. The company operates in a highly regulated environment, so its SAP landscape carries processes that cannot be allowed to fail. CEdge provided SAP expertise to keep it stable and to carry out changes safely.
Scope of Work
- Production support for SAP applications, including incident triage and resolution
- Enhancements and configuration changes requested by business owners
- Java development and quality assurance around SAP releases
- Testing and release support, with change control suited to a regulated company
- Knowledge transfer so support did not depend on any one person
How We Worked
We staffed a team with deep SAP skills, flexible enough to grow or shrink with project demand, and managed it as one CEdge delivery unit. Work was prioritized with business owners, and changes moved through documented testing and approval before reaching production, as a regulated customer requires.
Result
